Kirana Laonipon

Part II Architectural Assistant

Kirana has experience working in architecture for several years. Her focus has been on residential and educational projects. She always work with a belief: designing good buildings that can serve their purposes should reflect their characters well on users and community.

During her Bachelor's Degree in 2016 at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, Kirana was selected for a university's exchange programme to join Meiji University, Japan for a semester. There she had the opportunity to work for KUU Architectural firm on resorts and private residential projects.

After graduating from her bachelor in architectural design, she moved to the United Kingdom to pursue a Master's Degree in Environmental Design at the University of Nottingham, which she obtained with honours in 2018. Since then Kirana Laonipon has been working on various projects for Design United Studio to create architectural designs that are not only exciting, but also sustainable for the world.

She inputs her past experiences of living, studying and working abroad on several continents, seeing many different styles of architecture, into each project to deliver a unique design that fits the specific conditions of the site and client's desire.
