Landseer Road is known for large, finely detailed Edwardian villas, and a project here usually needs to work at that scale, more rooms, more elevations, more ornamental detail to get right. Sutton town centre's High Street Crossroads conservation area, one of England's first Heritage Action Zones, protects its vivid Victorian polychrome brick and stone frontages. Properties nearby are reviewed with that streetscape in mind, and we build that into a scheme from the outset rather than treating it as a late add-on.
